What a waste of money. I can only hear it if I hold it up directly-smack dab against my ear. And you need the TINIEST screw driver to undo the battery compartment which they don't provide. Who has a microscopic screw driver laying around the house for this? It was more trouble than it was worth to open the compartment and put the batteries in. I am returning it!
This sound machine didn't even get to be used ONCE before it broke. I put the battery in, turned it on and heard the volume, then shut it off. My husband kept complaining that he could hear a noise- it was whistling and would not shut all the way off. Drained the batter in about a day, and then would not work at all. You get what you pay for.
